Laura can be a little ditzy at times, but she's always positive and full of heart.

When Alexandra Anderson arrives at North Oak, Laura adopts her as a sister unquestioningly. She's one of Alex's first real friends.

Laura's best friend is Brooke Merrsal. The two grew up together and are practically family.

After a near-death experience, Laura awakes from a coma convinced she's become a genius. She dreams of going to Harvard University to study Law, which she has found fascinating since Alex's stint in prison.

Laura briefly dated Johnathan North whom she also grew up with. But he grew too demanding when she chose to be with Brooke, nursing her filly Morning Glory through EHV.
