Steven took over ownership of North Oak after the passing of his younger sister, Angelina Anderson.

While she was alive, they were a formidable team. He knew the best bloodlines, and Angie had a lock down on conformation & biomechanics. Together, they had started "custom breeding" racehorses.

In his father's will, it was determined that Angelina and her descendants were to inherit the farm.

Needless to say, Steven isn't interested in letting that happen. He thought he was safe until a certain orphan showed up at his front gates.
